Does it ever make you wonder why -
Doing the right thing makes you feel so wrong?
Why is it so much more easier to go with the flow and say something that everyone would want to hear?
It feels as if people term you from the behind of their mind. Party pooper, don't tell her, its not worth it. You're just getting yourself into trouble if you tell her.
Its hard, to do whats right. Especially when nobody is looking.
A word that was newly introduced to me as I was pondering on this was integrity. Basically, I've been facing this situation alot recently. What IS integrity? Integrity is simply obedience to the unenforceable, it is the definition of adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. It all comes back to virtue.
Yet, the deepest satisfaction is to know that, when you do make the right choice, Jesus is smiling. Thats the biggest prize I would want. Even if it meant losing. I'm not saying that I am able to withstand what comes in the way and that I'm perfect when this kind of situations bang me in the head. What I am trying to say is - Should we all put the effort into being set apart? What are we of a difference if we just closed one eye?
Better things will fall into place, its whether we choose to start the ball rolling.
