Love hurts?
No, after all this time, I've come to realize that... Love does not hurt at all.
Failing at something hurts, losing someone dear hurts, getting rejected hurts, being envious hurts, having unresolved mistakes hurt, letting go hurts.
But, what does the Bible say about ... "Love"?
1 Cor 13: 1-8 :
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
GOD IS LOVE.
So why is everyone still so confused with love?
This "love" people now know of is not pure, it is not the truth. Sin and corruption has came into this world, which is why Jesus Christ came down to earth to live and breathe the same air, to help the poor, to serve people. He walked the talk, the lived THE TALK. Even at the cross, He forgave them who did not understand, BECAUSE OF LOVE.
He did not just merely spoon feed the people into salvation, he did not just SIT there and merely just smile at people... that somehow from that, things will miraculously get better. No! He got down on his knees to wash his disciples feet and THEN...
He told them to do the same onto others what He had done to them.. to
LOVE, unconditionally.
When you're sad you can
Well first of all, I got really sick on friday cause I went shopping with my eldest brother at 1u the night before and we SHARED A VITAGEN+SODA drink together, after we came back home, I felt like super sick already.. ugh... virus spreads really fast! So I skipped school on friday and slept the whole day!! YAY!!
And guess what! I found out that there WAS NO MEETING held on friday anyway! Double YAY!
So anywayyyyyyyyy, today's the 30th of January, ALREADY.
Right? Alrightttt... alreadyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!
Was it just yesterday that I wrote about how productive this year's gonna be and wow.. its really faaaaaaaaaaaaaaassttttt(and I agree with Hazel, congratz on the 16 books!)
Besides, back to the point, I went for a chinese cultural seminar today! Met with Aunty Lilian, Bernice and Justine, such a small world, right? :)
Yea, I guess I learnt some few stuffs today, though I bet the message would've been much easier and clearer if he delivered it in chinese, even though I'd be lost 60% of the way, still ;) he sounded like he had quiteeee a difficulty. x)
Just one of his sayings stuck in my head nowww.. remaining in tai chi too long allows you to connect with the spiritual realm and may result the person getting possessed!
